Corporate Services Audit ManagerLocation: Banbury Salary:£55,000 - £65,000

Our client, a large growing Accountancy Practice based in Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced Corporate Services Audit Manager to oversee a portfolio of clients within the Corporate Services department, with a strong emphasis on Not For Profit (NFP) specialisms. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, timely, and cost-effective services to clients, enhancing their experience while contributing to the growth and development of the firm. This role offers a dynamic mix of client management, practice development, and team leadership with a strong focus on audit, accounts preparation, and outsourcing.Key Responsibilities:- Deliver excellent audit and account services to clients, particularly within the NFP sector.- Respond promptly to client queries and those from third parties such as HMRC.- Develop strong client relationships and become the primary contact for day-to-day matters.- Review and finalise audit files, accounts, and corporation tax work prepared by junior staff.- Provide feedback and training during staff appraisals and encourage team growth.- Assist partners in managing WIP, ensuring timely billing and progress of work.- Identify business opportunities and assist partners with value-added assignments.- Ensure deadlines are met for Companies House filings, group reporting, P11Ds, and tax returns.- Plan and supervise work to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Critical Skills Required: - Proficiency in reviewing and completing audit and accounts files.- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office.- Excellent problem-solving and idea-generation skills.- Effective marketing, networking, and business development abilities.- Pro-active leadership and management, fostering high-performing teams.Qualifications & Experience:- ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent experience).- Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in an audit practice.- At least 3 years of experience managing staff in a practice environment.
