Robert Half are pleased to be partnering exclusively with a dog related charity based in Banbury to recruit a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will receive a salary of up to £45,000 along with other attractive benefits including flexible hybrid remote working!

This is a varied Finance Manager role and would best suit an individual who enjoys a hands on role and getting stuck in to all elements of the finance function. The Finance Manager will manage one direct report.

Primary responsibilities;

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for the charity, including cash flow forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Meet with Senior Managers to discuss results and forecast future performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the charity in conjunction with budget holders and Director of Finance.
  • Assist the Director of Finance with the preparation of year end accounts and audit.
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
  • Review the VAT status of the charity in conjunction with Director of Finance.
  • Work closely with the fundraising team to ensure that appropriate donor data is captured.
  • Administration of Legacies.
  • Day-to-day administration of the Finance System.
  • Assist the Director of Finance with the smooth running of the Charity's finances and to help further develop financial processes and procedures.
