Agricultural Sales Representative required. Our client is an agriculture equipment supplier with over 50 years of experience in the industry. They are now looking for Agricultural and Ground Care Sales Representative in the Banbury area due to the growth of the business.

Successful candidates will increase sales within an assigned geographical area, generating new leads and dealing with the whole sales cycle. Although they sell a range of heavy machinery, this position will involve the sale of equipment such as hand held, mowers and utility vehicles/quads and other machinery as well as tractors, combined harvesters etc. Their frequently used manufacturers include Hayter, Honda, Viking, Husqvarna, Stihl and Snapper for Ground Care equipment and smaller equipment, with Gregoire Besson and Deutz-Fahr predominantly for the larger machinery. Parts for Massey Ferguson, Fendt and John Deere can also be sold to customers.



Agricultural Sales Representative Position Overview

  • Achieving sales performance targets through matching the right products/services to customers.
  • Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
  • Utilising outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales.
  • Pricing products, negotiating and quoting customers in a timely manner.
  • Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customers.
  • Ensuring all CRM databases and customer information is kept up to date, in line with GDPR and other legislation.
  • Resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner to maintain customer loyalty.
  • Working closely with the Product Specialist, organising demos of new products where necessary to ensure the customer has a full understanding.
  • Expanding industry knowledge by attending training workshops and reading professional publications.

  • Proven sales experience in the Agricultural industry or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of the Agricultural industry and equipment.
  • Outstanding negotiation, consultative sales and Exceptional customer service skills.
