The Role:
  • Conduct audits and prepare financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Work closely with clients, providing expert financial insights and tax planning advice.
  • Review and prepare client accounts and business tax computations to a high standard.
  • Lead and supervise audit assignments, either remotely or at client sites.
  • Support and mentor junior staff, ensuring they develop their technical and professional skills.
  • Use leading accounting software, including Xero, Sage 50, and other cloud-based platforms.
What Were Looking For:
  • ACA / ACCA fully or part-qualified (or AAT qualified).
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an accountancy practice, ideally in audit and accounts preparation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and provide proactive client solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle to travel to client sites are required for audit work.
  • Experience using Xero, Sage 50, and other accounting software is a plus.
