Reed Engineering are working with a composite manufacturing company who are a Tier 1 Supplier to the F1 industry. I am looking for a skilled Composite Laminator. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, contributing to high-level projects with precision and expertise.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Fabricate and repair composite materials for various applications, primarily in the automotive sector.
• Use hand tools and machines to cut, fit, and assemble composite materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately construct components.
• Ensure all components meet strict quality and technical standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop manufacturing processes and improve the efficiency of production.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to comply with safety regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Composite Laminator, preferably in the automotive or aerospace industries.
• Strong understanding of composite materials and their applications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• High level of precision and attention to detail.
• Excellent manual dexterity and the ability to use various tools and equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
