Interim EHS Manager - Banbury

Rate: 400 per day (inside IR35)

Are you a Health and Safety contractor based near West Oxfordshire and ready for your next contract or interim role? If so, this could be your next opportunity with a leading medical equipment manufacturer currently seeking an Interim EHS Manager.

You would be joining one of the top companies in the field, renowned for their innovative, high-quality products. In this role, you'd oversee all EHS matters across their manufacturing sites in West Oxfordshire.

The company has recently won awards and is known for its strong investment in health and safety. You'd also be responsible for environmental compliance and maintaining ISO 14001 management systems.


Responsibilities of the Interim EHS Manager will include:

  • Ensuring the site is compliant with both UK legislation and in line with wider Group strategy for health, safety, and environment
  • Engaging across the site to drive improvement within health, safety, and environment
  • Auditing safety, health, and environmental performance, accurately reporting and investigating incidents and near misses
  • Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including senior management, operational staff, and external regulators
  • Leading on new initiatives and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop Health, Safety and Environment compliance and performance

The successful Interim EHS Manager will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role ideally within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical or industrial environment
  • Degree qualified with NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and membership of IOSH
  • Proven environmental management experience and experience with ISO 14001
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders
  • A strong technical knowledge across relevant health, safety and environment legislation
