My client islooking for a skilled Domestic Gas Installer to join our Direct Labour Organization (DLO) team working in the Banbury area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to social housing projects by delivering high-quality gas installations and maintenance. The role is permanent, with a competitive salary starting at 42,000, rising to 44,000 after completing the probationary period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install domestic gas systems and appliances (boilers, cookers, fires, etc.) in social housing properties.
- Conduct gas safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on gas systems and appliances.
- Carry out servicing and maintenance of gas installations as required.
- Ensure all work is compliant with Gas Safe regulations and relevant building codes.
- Work in a customer-focused manner, liaising with tenants and housing officers to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and report any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards in line with company policy and legal requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Gas Safe Registration (essential).
- ACS qualifications (CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, etc.) with proven experience in domestic gas installations and servicing.
- Experience working in social housing or within a Direct Labour Organization (DLO) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and current building standards.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with residents.
- Full UK driving license (essential for traveling between properties).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
