Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Demonstrated expertise in the luxury goods industry/jewellery industry, pawnbroking or auction house is desirable but not essential.
- Valuations Experience: A background in valuations, showcasing ability to assess the worth and authenticity of luxury items but be desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the correct candidate.
- IT Skills: Proficient in utilising various technology platforms including the Microsoft software
- Time Management: Exhibit excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritise work effectively
- Independence: Capable of working independently, taking initiative, and making informed decisions to contribute to the overall success of the processing department
Responsibilities:
- Assess and price a wide range of jewellery - full training will be given
- Conduct thorough valuations on a diverse range of luxury goods, ensuring accuracy and precision
- Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and market values
- Utilise IT skills to enhance the customer experience and streamline operational processes
- Manage and organise tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines consistently
Qualifications/Experience:
- Ideally the candidate will have proven experience in the Jewellery, luxury goods or the Pawnbroking sector this is desirable but not essential.
- Keen eye for detail and a passion for this industry
- Full UK driving license is desirable but not essential
