Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Systems Engineer to work with an innovative engineering business, working within the realms of electric vehicles/powertrain technology.
You'll be joining a small but experienced team and will involve technical design and development, with the potential for taking on project and team leadership responsibilities depending on our experience level.
You'll be taking part in all aspects of vehicle system design from requirements to delivery, including architecture, wiring, systems integration, control software, etc.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vehicle-level system architecture design
- HV, LV and communication systems design
- Electrical systems integration
- Safety analysis
- Embedded control software development
- Be involved in test rig design
- Testing, calibration and validation
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Vehicle systems architecture design
- CAN/LIN design/analysis
- Wiring loom design
- Data logging and analysis
- Electronic system test, calibration and validation
DESIRABLE (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Loom build and/or repair
- Safety Analysis (FMEA, HazOp, etc)
- MATLAB/Simulink
- ISO26262 knowledge
- Automotive quality systems and processes knowledge
