IT Support Technician

We are delighted to be recruiting for an IT Support Technician on behalf of a global food manufacturer based in Banbury who are a market leader in their industry.

Purpose of IT Support Technician role:

The IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing 1st / 2nd line support for all end users based at their site in Banbury. Their role is to maintain the successful day to day operation of IT functions across the site by ensuring problem resolution of internal information systems together with the provision of technical hardware and software support to all end users.This position will report directly to the IT Helpdesk Manager.

This role is offering a salary of £33,000 - £39,000 dependent on experience and is 35 hours per week Monday to Friday however, the company do run a 24 hour operation so you will be required to be on call every 4 weeks on a rotational basis.

Requirements for the IT Support Technician role :

Hold a relevant IT qualification.

Previous experience working in an IT support role would be advantageous.

Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Good technical resolution and problem-solving skills.

Full Driving Licence
