Banbury / Hybrid
c£50,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
We are working with a well-established multi-office Oxfordshire/Warwickshire law firm who are looking to attract a fully qualified Senior Conveyancer (solicitor, FCILEx or CLC) to join their well-established office based on a lovely business park on the outskirts of Banbury.
The role will involve:
- Supporting and working closely with the Head of Department
- Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload
- Providing expert conveyancing advice to clients throughout the transaction process
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and other property related documents
- Reviewing searches and Land Registry applications
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other parties to ensure smooth transactions
- Marketing the firm's conveyancing services and building new professional relationships
- Providing training and support to junior members of the conveyancing team
Suitable candidates will have:
- Fully qualified status (solicitor, FCILEx or CLC)
- Previous conveyancing fee earning experience (around 4years'+ PQE)
- The ability to work autonomously, without supervision
- The ability to manage and support a small team
- A sound understanding of the conveyancing process from start to finish
This is a full time permanent job, working 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Home-working will be accommodated. 2 days per week.
