Mechanical Fitter Rigger - Slinger Signaller

Dedicated engineering services for the food and beverage, automotive and aerospace industries, the company has tailored specialist engineering solutions to many of the world's largest manufacturers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanical fitter rigger with a CPCS slinger signaller qualification to join the Asset Removal Team supporting a major machine removal project in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

Duties
As a suitably experienced and qualified Fitter Rigger - slinger signaller with machine installation or removal expertise you will be working on site at a major food manufacturing facility in Banbury, OX16 1LX. With responsibility to ensure the safe de-construction and removal of process equipment, pipework, machinery and other assets as required to decommission the site. Typical duties will include attaching lifting gear to a variety of production plant and equipment to safely lift and remove to awaiting flatbed wagons for onward distribution. Other duties will include general mechanical fitting work to remove critical pipework, machine guards and rails to allow access and removal of the plant. All duties will be carried out with strict adherence to the site safety protocols.

About You
Based ideally in Northamptonshire or Oxfordshire you will need to live within a commutable distance of OX16 1LX.
Demonstrable experience of rigging and mechanical fitting within a construction or industrial environment is essential for this contract.
Qualifications: CPCS Blue card Slinging or NPORS Slinger are the preferred certificates.
Additional certification including working at heights, IPAF and telehandler would be advantageous.
