Bennett and Game are proud to represent an award-winning Environmental Consultancy specializing in landscape, environmental, and residential projects in and around Oxfordshire. Our client is currently seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join their expanding team.

As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will play a key role in a variety of projects, ranging from small to large-scale, across Residential, Industrial, Healthcare, and Commercial sectors. This position offers a diverse project portfolio, providing an excellent foundation for advancing your professional career.

This established consultancy is composed of specialists in Landscape Planning and Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA), serving both public and private sector clients. Their focus on client needs and aspirations makes this role ideal for someone passionate about Landscape Architecture, with a creative mindset and the ambition to progress, potentially to an associate level in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all aspects of projects within a collaborative team environment
  • Conduct Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA)
  • Develop detailed designs and layouts
  • Produce both hand-drawn and computer-generated sketches
  • Create construction details
  • Manage client relationships professionally
  • Lead projects and mentor junior team members
  • Attend public, client, and team meetings

Position Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 3+ years of industry experience
  • CMLI (Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute) status is highly advantageous but not essential
  • Experience with LVIA
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is beneficial
  • Skilled in freehand sketching
  • Experience in project leadership and supporting junior staff is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Full, clean driver's license and own transportation are beneficial
