Quattro Resourcing are currently seeking a Logistics Manager for our bespoke client based near Banbury.
Reporting into Head of Operations, the Logistics Manager will be responsible for the fast-paced vehicle delivery and collection service via multiple locations across the UK on behalf of customers, retailers and online vehicle sales customers. This role is accountable for the effective delivery and satisfaction of all customers.
Key Duties
- Management of a team of 6 despatching and planning operators
- Managing the day to day despatch of drivers and driver requirements
- Responsible for operational performance and compliance to ensure customer satisfaction
- Weekly meetings of performance to the head of operations
- Optimising performance and increasing productivity with analytical skills
- To ensure all colleagues comply with Health Safety and Environment, qualities and company standards.
Requirements
- Great attention to detail
- Use of Microsoft Office
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Environment Legislation.
- Previous experience in the Automative Sector (Desireable)
