The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production machinery. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults quickly to minimise downtime.
- Supporting the production team by addressing technical issues effectively.
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimise machine performance and efficiency.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment while adhering to compliance standards.
What You'll Need
Our client is looking for someone with:
- A proven track record in a Food, FMCG, Packaging, or Manufacturing environment (other industries considered).
- Formal qualifications such as NVQ, HNC, HND, BTEC, or City & Guilds.
- Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance experience, with multi-skilled expertise being highly advantageous.
- A hands-on, proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- The ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative working environments.
