You’ll play a pivotal role in designing everything from small retro-fit camera systems to large industrial automation machinery.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design mechanical and pneumatic systems for industrial automation, creating concepts, schematics, and drawings in SolidWorks.
  • Specify components and ensure compliance with global standards.
  • Contribute to renders for marketing, hands-on system builds, and on-time project delivery.
  • Collaborate with Design and Applications Engineering teams to drive innovation.
  • Create mechanical designs and schematics for industrial automation systems. Encompassing concepts, drawings and schematics within SolidWorks under the guidance of the Design Manager.
  • Assist as required with hands-on mechanical build for automation systems.
What We’re Looking For:Essential:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in industrial automation or special-purpose machine design.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial automation/special purpose machine design experience.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks).
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering (2.1 or above).
  • Organisational skills, problem-solving ability, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Create mechanical designs and schematics for industrial automation systems. Encompassing concepts, drawings and schematics within SolidWorks under the guidance of the Design Manager.
Desirable:
  • Familiarity with machine vision technology, rendering software, and 3D printing.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Experience with 3D printing.
