Project Engineer

Location: Banbury, BuckinghamshireSalary: £29,000 - £36,000 per annum

Monday - Friday

Our client, a leading manufacturer of commercial catering and ventilation equipment company based in Banbury, have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer. We're ideally looking for someone with a background in the construction, shop fitting or catering equipment industries.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Engage with site contacts from Mechanical and Electrical trades to Clients and Architects
  • Check and issue final layout and service drawings
  • Carry out final site measurements
  • Plan and co-ordinate project schedules
  • Populate and maintain project files in line with company quality procedures
  • Attend pre-start/progress site meetings
  • Carry out basic equipment demonstrations
  • Attend site to complete commissioning and customer hand over where needed
  • Assist with general sales

Skills/Experience needed:

  • Possess previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in the Construction/Shop fitting/Catering equipment industry
  • Hold a current valid CSCS, skill card or equivalent NVQ
  • Have an overview knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical services
  • Ability to work top strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication, organisational and numeracy skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft office programmes (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be flexible and able to travel, dependant on business needs, there may be occasions where overnight stays or unsocial working hours are required
  • Must hold a UK driving licence that meets company insurance requirements
