What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a high level of driving competence and flexibility. You must hold a UK HGV 1 driving licence with at least 180 days of Class 1 experience in the past two years, along with a valid CPC DQC. A clean driving record is essential, with up to 6 points for minor offences allowed (no DR or IN endorsements). You should have excellent knowledge of driver hours and regulations, and experience with refrigerated units would be an advantage. Candidates must live within a 30-minute commute of Banbury.
Your Responsibilities:
As part of your duties, you will be required to complete customer deliveries safely and efficiently across the UK, manage your working time while complying with tachograph rules and regulations, and perform daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance. You will also be expected to maintain a professional appearance and behaviour at all times.
