Our client based in Banbury provides a range of customised services, including warehousing, distribution, and sales and marketing, to support partnered manufacturers of medical and surgical products across the UK.

They are now looking for a Driver to join the engineering team ASAP due to unprecedented levels of business requirements.

The driving role will be a temporary/ongoing position for a period of 3 - 6 months and suitable candidates will need to be available to start ASAP or with a maximum of one weeks notice.

If the suitable candidate has an interest or background in engineering then the role could become permanent with the person moving into a field engineering position.

Duties:

  • Driving to customer sites and hospitals to collect stock/orders.
  • Ensuring that the orders collected/delivered are correct, free from damage and delivered in a timley manner.
  • Liaising with and driving to the warehouse in Kidderminster.
  • Ensuring the company vehicle is well maintained at all times.

Key Skills:

  • Suitable candidates must have previous experience driving vans and making deliveries.
  • A clean driving license is preferred although a maximum of upto 6 points will be considered.
  • A background or interest in engineering, specifically with medical devices would be preffered although not essential.
  • Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role and moving items some of which can be heavy.

Additional Information:

  • Please note this is a full-time temporary role for 3- 6 months with core hours of Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm although flexibility will be needed for delieveries and collections that are further away.
  • If candidates have a background or interest in engineering, there is potential for a full-time position within the engineering department as a field engineer.
