People Content & Internal Communications Advisor

Location: Remote (UK-based) - Midlands / South

Salary: £42,750 per year (plus Inner London Weighting of £3,483.94 if eligible)

Job Type: Full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract

Latham & Bond HR are recruiting for a well-established charity to find a talented People Content & Internal Communications Advisor. This role is critical in supporting the Leadership and People and Culture Teams by ensuring transparent, proactive, and positive communication across the charity during a period of transformation.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing and executing communication strategies that promote employee transparency, engagement, and alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Internal HR Communications Strategy & Development: Led internal HR communications from the People and Culture Team, crafting a strategic communications plan to support organisational change.
  • Content Creation: Develop relevant and engaging communications assets, including scripts, briefing documents, and internal content across the organisations platforms.
  • Leadership Support & Engagement: Serve as senior counsel to the leadership team, supporting communication in both strategic and crisis scenarios.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication with employees, promoting positive relations and addressing concerns during the transformation period.
  • Cross-Organisational Engagement: Ensure consistent communication that bridges departments and promotes team collaboration.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Proven experience in internal communications, ideally within HR or People and Culture teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, including CEO and board members.
  • Experience developing strategic communications and managing change in complex organisations.
  • High discretion and confidentiality, particularly regarding sensitive organisational changes.
  • The ability to manage ambiguity, meet tight deadlines, and work independently.
