A highly reputable motorsport organisation are seeking a Senior Indirect Buyer for a 6 month contract based in Banbury to ensure the smooth operations of cutting-edge motorsport facilities.
As a Senior Indirect Buyer based in Banbury you will be responsible for ensuring the procurement of goods and services along with negotiating with top suppliers, being at the forefront of strategic sourcing in a high-stakes industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category strategies for indirect procurement in a motorsport environment.
- Lead supplier negotiations, ensuring we get the best terms for cost, quality, and lead times.
- Manage contracts, assess risks, and proactively drive best practices in procurement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to source and secure the right products and services efficiently.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining the highest standards.
- Anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks before they impact performance.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience in motorsport, automotive or a similar fast-paced industry.
- Experience as a Senior Buyer or Indirect Buyer.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Experience of working in an international environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Power BI
