- Operate and maintain knitting machines, ensuring efficient production of metal mesh and other technical textiles.
- Program and monitor knitting machines to produce various patterns, handling troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new knit patterns for 2D and 3D components, including technical and metal textiles.
- Perform fabric cutting, joining, and ensure quality control of finished products.
- Maintain detailed records of machine maintenance and production trials.
- Proven experience with computerised knitting machines and industrial knitting technology.
- Ability to create and modify knit patterns, with experience in technical textiles being highly desirable.
- Familiarity with programming STOLL ADF Flat knitting machines is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to textile engineering.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
