We have a current opportunity for a Junior Capacity Planner on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Banbury. For further information about this position please apply.

Our client established in 1948 is a global market leading manufacturer in the supply of quality resin based home and outdoor garden storage solutions.

Job Summary:

As a Capacity Planner, you will be responsible for analyzing, forecasting, and managing the capacity needs of the organization to ensure optimal resource allocation and performance. You will work closely with various teams across the organization to develop and implement capacity plans that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously updates schedule to ensure other departments can plan and execute.
  • Advises purchasing department of any schedule changes which may affect raw material requirements.
  • Updates planner daily and ensures it is uploaded, stored and accessible to other team members.
  • Support capacity analysis to assess current infrastructure utilization and future capacity requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and input for capacity planning.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks or constraints to capacity
  • Monitor performance metrics and key performance indicators to track capacity utilization.
  • Communicate capacity planning updates and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to align capacity planning with business goals
  • Organise tool share between European sites
  • Manage the weekly promotions process for the Indoor side of the company

Skills/experience:

  • SAP ERP/MRP ideally
  • Proven experience in planning, resource management, scheduling
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
