PCC Traffic Information Consultancy Limited is looking for a field-based Transport Data Surveyor.

We are a long-established, well respected traffic data survey company based near Banbury and are actively seeking to add to our nationwide field-based staff to further grow our business in 2025.

Your role in the company would be varied day to day and could involve amongst others; the installation, maintenance and removal of traffic monitoring equipment on site or measuring an existing road network in preparation for further survey work. Most of our projects will require you to work independently utilising your own initiative, others may see you working as part of a team and in some instances supervising survey site staff.

Much of your working day will involve you being on site where survey duration periods can vary, so some overnight stays away will be required through a normal working week.

Applicants applying should be 29 or over due to the nature of the work and the insurance restrictions placed upon us, and will hold a full category B driving license. You will be practical with equipment handling, a good communicator with a logical approach to problem solving, have a willingness to learn and possess good IT skills.

All the necessary training both theoretical and practical will be provided at the job site, external specialist training is also provided to ensure you are competent to work within the highway network.
