Job Title: Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse

Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for an Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse with experience in cataract, vitrectomy, glaucoma surgeries, and injections for high-volume lists. This is an ongoing placement with approximately three shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert scrub support during ophthalmic procedures, including cataract, vitrectomy, and glaucoma surgeries, as well as handling injections.

  • Work efficiently in high-volume surgical lists, ensuring all instruments and equipment are prepared and managed effectively.

  • Assist in the recovery unit as needed, providing post-operative care for patients undergoing ophthalmic surgeries.

Position Details:

  • Work Pattern: Approximately 3 days per week
    • Scrub Shifts: 08:00-18:00
  • Rates:
    • Day Rate: 33.00 per hour
    • Saturday Rate: 36.00 per hour
    • Sunday Rate: 39.00 per hour
  • Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available

  • Experienced Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse with proficiency in cataract, vitrectomy, and glaucoma surgeries
  • Ability to manage high-volume surgical lists and assist in post-operative recovery care
