We are recruiting on behalf of a dynamic company in Banbury, seeking a highly motivated Procurement Coordinator to oversee the purchasing of materials, ensuring they meet specifications, budgets, and quality standards. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth flow of materials into the business, working closely with suppliers, the warehouse, and internal teams to meet production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse daily stock requirements and place purchase orders, maintaining stocks without exceeding capacity.
  • Monitor orders to ensure timely delivery, correct pricing, and adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve issues and ensure production runs smoothly.
  • Maintain and update the raw material delivery schedule for the warehouse, expediting late deliveries when necessary.
  • Collaborate with Accounts and Buyers to resolve invoice queries.
  • Support the Supply Chain Managers with reporting and assist the wider procurement team as needed.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum 2 years of procurement experience essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (advantageous).
  • A committed, flexible team player with great attention to detail.
