Description
The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:
- Lead the preparation of management accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for two entities within the group
- Assist with financial accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements and balance sheets
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Collaborate with project managers to analyse costs and improve financial controls
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific financial regulations and company policies
Profile
The successful Management Accountant will have:
- A solid background in management accounting, with experience in financial accounting duties
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus, but not essential
