AssessorHoop PS&HR are proud to be working closely with a forward thinking and employee focused organisation who are looking for a Fluent Welsh Speaking Assessor to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. This position is based in North Wales comes with a salary of up to £28,000 and offers remote working with travel to meet with learners in the area.This position will allow you to play a key role in delivering high-quality training and assessments to learners, ensuring positive outcomes and continuous improvement in the company’s performance. The role involves supporting learners through training programs, assessing their progress, and maintaining compliance with awarding body standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the internal system is maintained and updated according to the Code of Practice.
  • Monitor documentation, ensuring completion and accurate details of all trainee documents.
  • Ensure positive learning outcomes are recorded and stored correctly on the system.
  • Deliver training programs to assigned learners, ensuring high standards of learning.
  • Travel within North Wales to assess learners in the workplace.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Work-Based Learning Professional Standards and the Education Workforce Code of Practice.
  • Develop and plan personal learning plans and create a step-by-step learning route for trainees, alongside supporting learners with additional training needs.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and guided contact hours for audit purposes.
  • Develop and deliver in-house training sessions where necessary and contribute to the creation of course materials and resources.
  • Ensure learner achievements are accurately recorded and meet awarding body requirements.
Requirements:
  • Fluent Welsh Speaker.
  • A1 Assessor Award (or equivalent qualification).
  • Relevant occupational competence in the training area.
  • Experience in delivering work-based learning.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and GPDR.
  • Full driving license with access to own vehicle.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
