1st Line Support Technician

Siamo Recruitment are currently looking for a on a 1st Line Support Technician on a permanent, full-time basis, located in the County of Gwynedd, North Wales!

Working within a modern, global company, the successful applicant will be handling customers enquiries and providing 1st line support for bespoke software services. The ideal candidate for this role will be a personable and motivated individual with a background in Customer Support or IT looking to develop their skills in a growing industry!

Salary:24,700 per annum

The Role:
- Handle incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email
- Troubleshoot software issues and providing relevant solutions to customers
- Log customer details on the internal system and notes regarding software issues
- Effectively use IT systems to provide excellent customer service
- Send out and notify customers of scheduled software updates
- Escalate queries to higher levels of support if the issue requires further assistance
- Recommend appropriate solutions to customer based on existing knowledge
- Note any trends in software issues

The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in IT or Customer Support
- Qualifications in IT, Computing, or Software would be highly beneficial (A-Level or above)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of databases and SQL would be beneficial but not essential

Details and Benefits:

- Standard working hours 8am - 5pm
