I am actively seeking a Junior CAD Technician to join a busy and successful Multidisciplinary consultancy based in Bangor, North Wales. In this role you will work closely with experienced engineers to produce detail CAD drawings that support civil engineering projects from conception through to delivery. You will gain hands-on experience, coordinate projects, and contribute meaningfully to community-building projects.
Qualifications and Skills required for this Junio CAD Technician role:
- A levels in engineering (a degree is preferred)
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in your work
- Strong communication skills to foster teamwork and collaboration
- Good time management and adaptability to meet deadlines
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- A proactive and driven approach to learning and development
Key Responsibilities for this Junior CAD Technician role:
- Prepare general arrangement and detailed working drawings using a range of structural materials
- Issue drawing sheets and ensure all documentation follows internal QA protocols
- Occasionally support site visits alongside engineers
- Collaborate with engineers and the wider team to ensure designs are accurate and compliant
- Liaise with contractors and other professionals to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
- Work collaboratively with other offices as part of a multi-disciplinary team
