Our client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team due to a period of high growth and expansion. Our client is a well-known manufacturer distributing their specialist products across the globe.

Manufacturing Engineer Job Responsibilities:
Focus on manufacturing existing products and launching new ones.
Support operations by troubleshooting with assemblers and operators.
Oversee projects for developing manufacturing processes and tools to enhance productivity and quality.
Collaborate with teams to meet production targets and drive improvements.
Manage projects related to new equipment and cost reduction while facilitating new product introductions.
Provide mentorship and share knowledge with the manufacturing team.
Conduct analyses and validations to ensure process effectiveness.
Improve quality, efficiency, and throughput using Lean principles.
Coordinate the design and setup of manufacturing tools and equipment.
Work with Product Development to ensure designs are manufacturable and support new product launches.
Ensure a clean, safe work environment and proper equipment usage.


Manufacturing Engineer Requirements:

Bachelor of Science (BSC) or Higher National Certificate (HNC) in an engineering or technical field, or an equivalent qualification.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Strong understanding of materials, mechanics, and production processes.
Experience with ERP systems.
