An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Neuro Physiotherapist to join a dynamic and supportive team in North Wales. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a competitive hourly rate of £28-30 per hour, depending on experience. The successful candidate will begin as soon as possible and will work in an outpatient setting, providing high-quality care to individuals with neurological conditions.

Hours: Full Time- 37.5 hours (but open to part time applicants)

Location: North Wales

Band: 6

Pay: £28-30

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of neurological conditions including stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological impairments.
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to the specific needs of each patient, with a focus on improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
  • Provide education and advice to patients and their families on managing long-term neurological conditions, including prevention strategies and the promotion of independence.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
  • Utilize a range of neuro physiotherapy techniques and interventions such as functional electrical stimulation, neuro-rehabilitation, and strengthening exercises.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with best practice and professional standards.

Key Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Physiotherapist with proven experience in neuro-rehabilitation.
  • A strong understanding of neurological conditions and the impact they have on functional movement and daily activities.
  • Experience working in an outpatient setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • A passion for improving the lives of individuals with neurological conditions and promoting their independence.
