Quality Technician

Contract: Initial 12 Months
Rate: £12.50

I am currently looking for a Quality Technician to join our team in Bangor, my client is an industrial manufacturer, this role is to ensure Quality levels are maintained on the products, a mix of lab and office work, training is given.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily testing of production products, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards.
- Apply scientific principles to day-to-day tasks and problem-solving challenges.
- Perform product and system testing for functional compliance, performance, reliability, usability, operation under stress, and environmental limits.
- Engage in product qualification activities, including running product qualifications and experiments, setting up and monitoring automated test equipment, and documenting test reports and procedures.
- Follow established Design Verification Test Plans and department procedures for electronic hardware and system design verification.
- Record, organize, and issue test reports, managing test routines, schedules, and first-level failure analysis.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment and environmental test systems.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Development Engineers/Technicians while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
- Using SAP to record the results, manage data and update reports following equipment testing (training on SAP is given)
Qualifications:
- Experience in a test lab or quality testing role (Desirable)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel and Word
- Experience working in an office or lab environment.
- A minimum of GCSE Math and English pass or equivalent academic or professional training.
- Familiarity with test equipment
- Advanced PC and systems literacy, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
