We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in North Wales, who are looking to appoint a Domestic Abuse Support Team Leader on a Permanent.

This will be a full-time position based in Bangor and the surrounding areas, with hybrid working (1 day working from home) and a salary of £31,273.00.

The ideal candidate will have extensive managerial experience and have worked within a Domestic Abuse setting in the past. To complete this role, you must have an Enhanced DBS completed within the last 12 Months.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing 5 refuges across North Wales based in Bangor, Llangefni and Blaenau Ffestiniog
  • Managing up to 8 support staff day to day across the 5 services
  • Keeping records across all services, ensuring everything is logged that need to be
  • Making sure all health and safety checks are carried out, identifying any issues that need amending
  • Referring matters to Service Managers where needed
  • Acting on any concerns relating to Child Protection and the Protection of Vulnerable Adults
  • Keeping up to date with current trends and hot topics in the domestic support and abuse sectors

Experience required:

  • Experience required in management
  • Experience working with customers who have been impacted by Domestic Abuse

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
