1st Line Support Engineer - Managed Services

My client are a well established IT Managed Services provider servicing clients across London and the home counties. They have a requirement for a highly skilled 1st Line Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. The 1st Line Support Engineer role will involve:

    • Act as the first point of contact for all customer IT support requests.
    • Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, and other IT systems via remote tools.
    • Log, prioritise, and manage calls and incidents using our case management software (AutoTask).
    • Ensure all new hardware is correctly integrated into existing systems, configured with necessary software and security measures.

Flexibility will be required as the role will require occasional site visits to diagnose and resolve technical issues and install, upgrade, and maintain hardware as per client requirements.

Any industry certifications would be a great bonus. Such as: Microsoft, Sophos, Datto and other vendor-specific certifications.
