Are you passionate about igniting young minds and fostering a love for learning? We are excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join our dynamic and forward-thinking educational community. As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our youngest learners, making a lasting impact on their lives. The School is based in Wallington and is for a February 2025 start. Maternity cover role
Day-to-day of the role:
• Develop and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
• Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of their achievements.
• Build strong relationships with parents/guardians through open communication, parent-teacher conferences, and regular updates on student progress.
• Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Experience or specialisation in early years education or Year 1 instruction is highly desirable.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
