Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Bargoed. This role is within a KS2 classroom, assisting with general daily activities and providing targeted support for numeracy and literacy interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons.
  • Working with small groups or individual students to improve literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Providing additional support to pupils with diverse learning needs.
  • Helping prepare resources and maintaining a tidy, organized classroom.

Requirements:
Relevant qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
