Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate injection moulding machines for efficient production runs
- Monitor and optimise the injection moulding process to ensure consistent quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machinery during production
- Perform regular maintenance on injection moulding machines to avoid downtime
- Ensure all products meet stringent quality control standards
- Collaborate with the production and quality teams to continuously improve the moulding process
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Technician
- Strong understanding of injection moulding processes and machinery
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and improve production efficiency
- Knowledge of different plastic materials and common moulding defects
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets
- Willingness to work shifts if necessary
