What you will do as the Quality Manager:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the manufacturing process adheres to food safety regulations.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Conducting inspections and tests to ensure products meet quality standards, including BRC.
- Process Monitoring: Overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
- Documentation: Maintaining BRC records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related activities.
- Problem Solving: Identifying and addressing quality issues or defects in products and processes.
- Training: Educating colleagues on quality standards and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Implementing and suggesting improvements for quality management systems.
What you will need to apply for the Quality Manager position:
- A scientific background, ideally in food science or microbiology.
- Significant quality\QC\QA experience in the food manufacturing sector.
- Good knowledge of BRC and HACCP
- Flexibility to work on diverse tasks in a small business environment.
What you will receive in return:
- A salary of up to £40,000 - £50,000 (highly dependent on experience) plus holidays and a pension.
Your hours of work:
- Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
