Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School, Bargoed, Caerphilly
Contract: Long-term, until the end of the academic year
Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? A primary school in Bargoed is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Work with small groups or individual pupils to support their learning and development.
- Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support pupils with additional learning needs when required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working within a primary school setting.
- Ideally, hold a qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
- An enhanced DBS check (essential).
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (essential).
- A strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for pupils.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to commute to Bargoed, Caerphilly.
