Learning Support Assistant LSA

Position: Teaching AssistantLocation: Primary School, Bargoed, CaerphillyContract: Long-term, until the end of the academic year

Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? A primary school in Bargoed is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.

• Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Work with small groups or individual pupils to support their learning and development.
• Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs when required.

• Proven experience working within a primary school setting.
• Ideally, hold a qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• An enhanced DBS check (essential).
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (essential).
• A strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for pupils.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to commute to Bargoed, Caerphilly.
