Here at Berry we are delighted to be working with a National Courier company, looking for excellent 7.5t drivers based in Barking.

Your shift will start at the depot where you'll assist with loading parcels. We'll give you a delivery and collection schedule for the day which will be in the region of 30-50 stops around the area.

Times: 08:00 - 18:00 you will need to be flexible

Requirements

  • A valid 7.5T (C1) licence, DQC (Driver Qualification Card) and CPC accreditation
  • 12 months experience in this or a similar role.
  • Can work to deadlines, are flexible and always go above and beyond
  • Are friendly, approachable, positive, resourceful, and professional
  • Are able to multi-task and problem solve
  • Ability to lift, load and carry

Required Skills:

  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong verbal communication, both on the phone and face-to-face in the customer's home
  • To work flexibly, alone, or collaboratively with colleagues.
  • To utilise equipment and correctly handle products to ensure best practice for a safe delivery e.g., following manual handling and Health and Safety training
  • Ability to use initiative to problem solve in a timely and calm manner to ensure both business and customer needs are satisfied
