Van Driver and experienced Furniture Fitter - Barking
24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for a Van Driver with an experience in Furniture Fitting on behalf of our client for a British workplace furniture supplier with over 40 years of industry expertise, based in Barking.
Shift and Pay Information for the Van Driver position:
- Weekdays - NO WEEKENDS
- Different shift patterns available
- £28,000 to £31,000 per annum
About you:
Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in driving and furniture fitting is essential.
- Driving licence - no more than 3 points
- Positive and polite attitude
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Minimum 1 year of furniture fitting experience
Duties of a Van Driver / Furniture Fitter
- Deliver and install of furniture - a Drivers Mate will be there to assist you.
- Furniture fitting is a requirement however you will be trained
- Assist with general warehouse operations on occasion
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Heavy lifting will be required for this role
What can you expect as a Van Driver:
You will be driving to multiple different clients based in and around Barking delivering and assembling furniture with assistance of a drivers mate
