The position is for an HGV 2 Driver located in Barking, offering ongoing temporary work from Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:30.
The pay rate is £19.00 per hour and candidates are required to have previous multi-drop experience.
Applicants must hold a Full LGV C (Class 2) licence, have no more than 6 penalty points, and possess a valid Driver CPC and Digi Tacho Card.
A reasonable level of fitness is necessary due to manual handling of heavy goods, and good geographic knowledge of London is preferred.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Shifts: Monday to Friday 08:30 to 18:30

Pay: £19.00 per hour

We are looking for an HGV 2 Driver for ongoing temporary work for our busy and expanding client in Barking

You will be responsible for undertaking deliveries / collections which generally are between 8-15 per day.

Please note there will be some manual handling of heavy goods, so you will need a reasonable level of fitness. Majority will be using electric pump truck.

Requirements:

Full LGV C (Class 2) licence holder
No more than 6 penalty points on licence
Driver CPC qualified or Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digi Tacho Card
Reasonable level of fitness due to the nature of the role; dealing with heavy goods/manual handling
Good geographic knowledge of London and surrounding areas
A positive, can-do attitude
Excellent communication skills at all levels towards both customers and colleagues
Previous multi drop experience is required
