Responsibilities:

  • To carry out IA and a robust mental health assessment, risk assessment followed by a risk management plan on all young people and children referred to CAMHS. T
  • The 2 agency or bank staff would be responsible/focus on clearing ONLY the triage backlog and support with duty tasks.
  • The suitable candidate must have substantive CAMHS experience to work in a front door busy service.

Skills:

  • The post holder will be a nurse with appropriate professional or regulatory body (NMC).
  • They will have clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental difficulties
  • They will have significant experience of delivering clinically robust mental health assessment, risk assessment and management
