Join a dedicated team at a vibrant and welcoming school located in Barking & Dagenham whose mission is to provide an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive. They are looking for a passionate and experienced Reception Teacher to join them in September 2024 and help shape the educational journey of our youngest learners.

As a Reception Teacher, you will lead a dynamic and engaging early years classroom, fostering a love for learning in our youngest pupils. This full-time role requires a dedicated educator with a minimum of one year of experience teaching Year 1 or Reception, who is committed to delivering high-quality education and creating a supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons that align with the Reception/EYFS curriculum.
  • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports all areas of child development.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet the diverse needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting a collaborative school community.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' development and achievements.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • At least one year of experience teaching Year 1 or Reception.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and the Reception curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for teaching young children.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
