SEMH Teaching Assistant | Barking and Dagenham, East London

Are you passionate about supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Barking and Dagenham, East London.

SEMH Teaching Assistant | The Role:
  • Full-time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (to accommodate early arrivals, late departures, and paperwork).
  • Supporting SEMH pupils who are integrated into mainstream classes, providing extra adult support where needed.
  • Encouraging independence by helping students remain in class and engaging in learning.
  • Providing additional support, such as taking students for short walks when required.
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to ensure a nurturing and structured environment.
