We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Barking and Dagenham. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners and contribute to their educational journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Support pupils individually and in small groups, ensuring all students receive the help they need.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions.
  • Prepare and organise classroom resources to create a stimulating learning environment.
  • Ensure the safety of pupils during lessons, breaks, and activities.
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and staff to support pupil progress.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children succeed.
