My client offers comprehensive HIU services, including maintenance, repair, and replacement. Their team of skilled technicians provides expert care for HIUs, cylinders, and thermal stores. They prioritize customer satisfaction and offer 24/7 emergency support. Whether you need routine maintenance or complex repairs, they are here to help.

The HIU Engineer will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and commissioning Heat Interface Units (HIUs) and associated equipment. This includes repairing pipework, fixtures, and fittings, as well as carrying out minor electrical repairs. The engineer will also be expected to deliver excellent customer service.

Applicants must have at least 1 years of plumbing experience or HIU experience. They should also hold an unvented hot water certificate, City & Guilds level 2 in plumbing and heating, or have relevant experience. Soft skills such as excellent customer service, problem-solving, strong communication skills, and good time management are also essential. A full UK driving license and Part P electrical qualification are desirable but not mandatory.

The Role

Maintain, service, and repair HIUs and associated systems.
Provide 24/7 emergency support.
Conduct routine maintenance and complex repairs.
Work with underfloor heating systems and heating controls.
Offer block and group servicing.

Proven experience in HIU maintenance and repair.
Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
