Key Stage 2 Teacher - Mainstream Primary School

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 teacher looking for a new opportunity? We are supporting a vibrant mainstream primary school, seeking a passionate educator to cover both Lower Key Stage 2 (LKS2) and Upper Key Stage 2 (UKS2) on a paid to scale contract basis starting January 2025 through July 2025, with a view to join permanently for the 2025 - 2026 academic year.

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will inspire and support students across Years 3 to 6, fostering academic excellence and personal growth. You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference by helping pupils achieve their full potential in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.

Location: Barking & Dagenham
Position: Key Stage 2 Teacher (LKS2 & UKS2) - Pay-to-Scale Contract
Start Date: January 2025
Duration: Until July 2025 (with strong potential for permanent placement)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports both academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers, teaching assistants, and the senior leadership team to ensure continuity and consistency in students' learning experience.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Foster a love for learning through creative teaching strategies and engaging classroom activities.

Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Previous experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
